Morley Training Centre is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and provides quality training in the latest computer software packages to anyone who wishes to learn. It also offers non-computing courses including Certificate I, II, III and IV Courses. Training is conducted by qualified trainers.

TYPEQUICK  - KEYBOARD SKILLS:

This is a self paced, flexible entry arrangement where your learning will be monitored and your touch typing skills developed. For the best results you should commit to a minimum of 2 hours/day x 3 days per week.

MICROSOFT WINDOWS:

The Windows program aims to increase your computer productivity by providing the skills and knowledge to work effectively in the operating system. It has many features that can be utilised when working in many of the Microsoft applications. Some of the areas covered in this training include, understanding how the computer works, use dialog box techniques and managing files and folders.

INTERNET:

This course introduces trainees to the Internet and includes: how to connect to the internet, the World Wide Web browser, effectively searching on the web, downloading information, bookmarking, working with favourites and more.

MANUAL BOOKKEEPING:

This course will provide the knowledge and understanding of business structures, responsibilities of book keeping, preparation of profit and loss balance sheets income and expenses, along with a full understanding of assets and liabilities.

ACCESS Program:

The aim of the Access Program is to support vulnerable job seekers facing barriers to skilled employment to overcome those barriers and gain the necessary skills to enter and maintain an apprenticeship or other skilled employment or further education or training.  If you are interested in exploring training options under this funding program, please contact us.

The Morley Training Centre can offer on a fee for service basis, workplace assessments and training in the fields of:

  • Hazard awareness and safe manual handling techniques
  • Occupational injury prevention program
  • Onsite ergonomics equipment audit

  • Development of specific health and safety programme
