Types of referrals
Self-referred Client:
This is a person who phones or drops into the Centre after being told about the Centre by a friend or family member, or has driven/walked past and seen the Centre. Self-referred Clients will have the opportunity to discuss their training needs can book a place on a training course/s payment for training will need to be received five (5) working days prior to the commencement of training.
Agency referrals:
Agencies include Job Service Providers, Private and Public Rehabilitation Centres, etc. We ask that agencies:
- telephone or email to book a client on a course/s
- advise their clients of the course dates and times
- give clients the location details of the Training Centre
- forward a purchase order by fax (9275 8466) or eMail
Business referrals:
Where a business refers an employee to a training course, the Morley Training Centre requires the business to:
- telephone or email to book a client on a course/s
- advise the client of the course dates and times
- give clients the location details of the Training Centre
- forward a purchase order by fax (9275 8466) or eMail or request an invoice.
The following information is required from Agency and Business referrals:
- Client name (in full)
- Client Address
- Client Contact Number and Email
- Name of course/s approved and the dates
- Contact Person
- Contact Number and Email
- Invoice details
- Business Name
Anyone referred to the Morley Training Centre is welcome to contact us on 9375 1977 or eMail with any questions or to confirm training details. The Morley Training Centre does not provide written or verbal confirmation.
ENROL/BOOK A TRAINING COURSE:
Enrolments can be made by:
- fax on 9275 8466
- phone on 9375 1977 or 9275 8455
- in person at the Morley Training Centre, 22 Russell Street, Morley
FEES & PAYMENT:
- All course payments are to be finalised prior to the commencement of training unless otherwise arranged with the office.
- Payment is accepted by cheque, credit card, Eftpos, direct debit or cash.
- Where earlybird discounts apply to training, full payment is required not less than ten (10) working days prior to the commencement of training unless otherwise arranged.
- Where a course has not been paid for prior to commencement, full payment must be made on the commencement of training.
CANCELLATIONS/WITHDRAWALS:
For Agency Referrals and Self-Referrals:
- Where a cancellation/withdrawal from a course is less than five (5) working days prior to the commencement of training a fee of $60 will be incurred.
- A NO SHOW at course commencement will incur full payment of course fees.
- When notification and/or arrangements are made with management for the withdrawal from a training course after commencement, a refund will be negotiated.
- If cancellation/withdrawal from a course is due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, a doctor’s certificate or signed statutory declaration is required prior to the rescheduling of training or a refund and an administration fee may apply.
For Businesses Referrals:
- Where there is a cancellation/withdrawal from a course less than five (5) working days prior to the commencement of training, the course fee will not be refunded.
- A NO SHOW at course commencement will incur the full payment of course fees.
- If a late course cancellation/withdrawal is due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, a doctor’s certificate or completed statutory declaration is required prior to the rescheduling of training or a refund.
ATTENDANCE ON COURSES:
- Registration for training is between 8.30 am and 8.50 am at Reception on the first day of any training course.
- Trainees are required to be available to commence training at 9.00 am on the prescribed days.
- If for any reason trainees are unable to attend training or part there of, they must notify the Administration Officer so alternative training arrangements or options can be discussed.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (RPL):
- RPL/Skills Recognition is available to all clients requesting exemption from specific training components of certificate courses.
- You will be required to attend an interview and a fee will apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Course registrations are subject to availability and are considered tentative until payment or agency approval is received.
- Receipts for payment will be available at course commencement.
- If payment has not been received prior to course commencement, a place may be given to a paying client. If you have any queries it is suggested you contact this office on 9375 1977.
- Where courses are postponed/cancelled due to insufficient numbers, clients will be notified and given alternate dates.

The Morley Training Centre reserves the right to cancel, defer or change course dates.
